This agreement is to set the terms and conditions of use of the McIndoes Academy Community Center facility by our Community Partners. When utilizing our facilities, we are excited to help promote your programs and, in exchange, we hope you recognize that you are representing our organization. This agreement is to help us form a mutually beneficial partnership. Please complete this form in its entirety.

Community Venues
Our Community Venues are available for public programs, community events, and private gatherings. Our goal is to keep this historic village center active and welcoming, supporting meaningful social connection within the community.

McIndoes Academy
Tyler Room
A bright, accessible meeting space ideal for workshops, classes, and small events.
- Seating capacity: 40, first-floor carpeted space
- Room size: 26' x 27'
- Handicap-accessible parking and entry via the Post Office rear entrance
- 75" wall-mounted HD television, strong WiFi
- Four (4) 6' folding tables and ample seating
The Green (Outdoor Space)
An open lawn suitable for gatherings, performances, and seasonal events.
- Outdoor grass area suitable for a variety of events
- WiFi on green, but no electrical power available
- Restroom access inside the Academy lobby
McIndoes Event Center Former church building
Event Center
A large-capacity venue well suited to performances, lectures, and community events.
- Seating capacity: 150
- Room size: 38' x 39' (stage not included)
- Multi-level stage: Depth: 8' Upper level width: 15' Lower level width: 11.5'
- Currently unheated. Not available for winter use at this time.
- Acoustic treatment and carpeting planned for near future installation
Vestry
A fully restored, flexible space ideal for meetings, meals, and smaller events.
- Renovated in 2025 with new bathrooms and remodeled kitchen
- Fresh paint and refinished floors
- Event room size: 29' x 17'
- Six (9) 6' tables
- Seating capacity: 35 seated at tables; 50 theater-style
Parking
Our buildings date to the 1850s when parking was not a planning consideration. Approved parking is located behind the Academy by the Post Office entry. Overflow parking will be designated during the event. Wheelchair access is available using the Post Office entry.
Academy guests must park only in designated areas and not on neighboring lawns.
Event Center guests must park in Academy parking locations. There is room for 4 cars on the Brook Circle side of the church for small events. Parking is not permitted in front of the church to allow wheelchair or emergency access to the Event Center.
Venue Rental Fees
Tyler Room- Half Day $75 Full Day/Evening $100
The Green- Half Day $150 Full Day/Evening $250
Event Center- Half Day $150 Full Day/Evening $250
Vestry- Half Day $100 Full Day/Evening $125
Damage & Cleaning Deposit (Refundable): $200
Payment Terms
- Rental fee and deposit are due by cash or check at the time booking is accepted
- Deposit refunded by check following inspection by MACC representative
- Rental fee waived for public events or activities by various community partners for public benefit
Community Space Terms & Conditions
Responsibility
- The renting party is responsible for all guests before, during, and after the event.
Access & Setup
- Early access is permitted for setup, inspection, and equipment drop-off
- Renters are expected to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the event start time
Noise & Music
- Music at a reasonable volume is permitted
- All music events must conclude by 9:00 PM
- Events with excessive volume may be required to end at the discretion of MACC representatives
Promotion
- Events may be promoted on the Academy website and Facebook page upon request
Cleanup
- All activities, including cleanup, must conclude within two hours after the event
- Cleanup includes, but is not limited to, disposing of food and beverages, wiping tables and chairs, washing and storing dishes, sweeping or vacuuming if needed, and removing all trash generated by the event
- Venues must be left clean and in original condition prior to event
Insurance & Compliance
- Renters must carry any additional insurance required by MACC staff
- Events involving alcohol require additional insurance
Conduct & Safe
- No smoking, marijuana, vaping, or illegal substances are permitted on the premises
Liability & Access
- MACC is not responsible for personal property left after an event
- Staff may enter the premises at any time during events
- Staff may photograph events provided photography does not disrupt the program
